Okay, so... my personal favourite from the first semi (based on the artists) is definately I'Dees. I've been a fan since I first saw them on "Tie tähtiin". Very nice and talented young ladies Anne Vihelä from the duo A&N comes close second. She should have won Idols!

I fly to Helsinki on the 18th and fly back on the 20th. We'll get the same train up to Tampere.

For those of us that talar svenska, Swedish YLE have put up a lot of info on their website. It is all just too exciting :lol:

But I'm sure you Finns will end up picking the wrong song anyway.. just like the Swedes...

Tampere will be so good! Same procedure as last year, of course. And hopefully a better outcome in the semi in May...

First time I am going to visit at Finnish final. I think it will be exciting. I will keep fingers crossed for Finnish language songs, because it would be real European culture. In fact, my crystal ball tells that Finland won't ever reach trop 5 in song in English. It is just Nordic people's bad self confidence to sing in English in ESC. :lol:

My faves without hearing any of them are GARY, GEIR, ANNA STENLUND and URBAN COMMUNITY. But time will tell, who are the ones that I really LOVE.. :lol:

I'm so EXCITED; I just can't hide it...!!!! :lol:

I think any country can do well in any language, it all just comes down to luck and good timing, something Finland has been seriously lacking throughout the years.
Finland just needs a bit of confidence and sense of self-promotion, and to get rid of the collective feeling of having lost even before the show has even started.
