You know...I'm especially proud being a Norwegian-Finnish guy myself - I could say I'm bursting with pride...well, at least I'm immensly happy......! The best thing is that our repsentative for the ESC has a great chance of a placing amongst the top songs in the final this year (I'm sure the semifinal is nothing but a formality...). So, I too want to congratulate Geir, Sampo and Mika for a fantastic job...well done...! =D> I know it's tough out there and the competition is fierce, but I'm sure Finland and the Finns will be proud, when all is said (or sung......) and done and the dust has settled down....! My very best wishes of luck for Kiev in May...! I'm certain that the Finns will have a pleasant surprise...but let's be patient...it's still a long way to go, eh...?

That is a wonderful start and a very good promise, and I am happy that we have Geir, a Norwegian singer, representing us. It is not a matter of whether you are Finnish or not (which will surely be one point that many Finns will bring up and refer to our previous achievements in ESC).
The most important thing is that Geir is one of us, he lives in Finland, and loves this country so much that he wants to represent us as well as ever possible
It is a very good start for Kiev, to have someone with talent and the WILL to do well!!!
The constest will be tough and I am sure there will be many speculations and critical comments as well. I hope Geir and his team won't let themselves down by negative comments in papers or on the internet. There are always many comments, both positive and negative. Often the negative ones are from people that don't really care about ESC at all.
I hope and am pretty sure that many Kuppila members will post positively on WHY on international forums - there will also be a lot of support!!!

I'm also very happy that Geir is so great singer, even if we get no points or will not go to big final. We can be proud of Geir and the team. Nobody can say, how the televoters vote in that night in Kiev. Congratulations Steven-Sampo and Mika of the song " Why " !

I agree, that's the trend in the ESC! Ukraine and Greece are good examples.

It's rubbish what Timoteus say, that 'genuineness' is the only key-factor. You would probably send Frederik, because he is 'a big name in Finland', which then means according to you that he has to be very charismatic and a very good singer. And he is genuine!

Sillanpää is one reason why people should vote for the song and show, and not on someone because he/she is 'famous' in his home country. Sillanpää is maybe charismatic to the finnish ladies over the age of 45, but...that's it!

Who said anything about getting 12 points from Sweden?! I said that the song would be a huge hit in Sweden, nothing about 12 points. On the news they said that 'Kiss Me' was popular in Stockholm.

Finally, I hope that Geir will be successful in Kiev! He is good.

Nil is a pop singer ,she has her own style. her songs lyrics are very interesting
but she has a good voice.
Sefarad is a jewish-turkish band. their style is pop-folk music

and you know Ýzel , after participating eurovision , she become more popular.
she didnt lose anything her voice.

in my opinion , the best Turkish entry is "Dinle" (1997) and Bana Bana (1989).i think this song couldn't be understood by people but it is really Turkey's turning point. did you see the conducter ?
when i think seriously , Beþinci Mevsim (1996) makes much sense to me.
our disasters are "opera(1983) , Esmer yarim(1993)"
my dislikes are also 1981 and 1987 and 2005 entry
apart from those , i like all of them.

For Real , Everyway that i can are also my favorites.

and my finnish favorites are Hullu Yö , Bye Bye Baby and Yamma Yamma
i also love the other finnish songs but finland cant get good points
so i always think , Finland is the country that always has fairness in eurovision

in my opinion best Turkish is Pinar: Yorgunum anla and I also liked very much Kayahan Agar ( song name was something like)Göslerinin hapsideyin. Dinle also quite good!
